Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin and French Ambassador to Serbia Christine Moro signed today an agreement on the renewal of the Monument of Gratitude to France on Kalemegdan, which will cost around €400,000.

After signing the agreement at the Palace of Serbia Vulin said that Serbia is proud of its history and that in the First and Second World War, France and Serbia fought against the same enemy and added that Serbian and French people aqually share their love for freedom.
He said that the reconstruction of the monument will cost about €400,000, of which RSD 22 million will be provided by the government of Serbia and the Embassy of France around €200,000.
Moro expressed satisfaction over the renewal of the monument, adding that the restoration should be completed by 11 November this year.
