Ljajic said after signing the document that it is envisaged that Serbia gets a more modern digital local government, new solutions in the field of digital marketing, and a bigger number of educated IT professionals.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that he was pleased that Serbia has started a partnership with one of the five largest IT companies in the world and stated that "Oracle" in this year trained 275 IT experts and that it cooperates with 191 education institutions in Serbia.
Our plan is to increase the number of experts from 1,500 that Serbia gets every year, to 6,000 to 7,000, in order to catch up with the modern world, the Deputy Prime Minister explained.
The aim is that Serbia can promote itself in the area of digital marketing in a different way than to date, like when at various tourism fairs we were presenting ourselves with pamphlets and brochures, Ljajic said.
Capobianco pointed out that today we have all become a new kind of consumer in a closely connected world, because it is time to connect and this memorandum signed today is only the first step in strengthening cooperation between "Oracle" and Serbia.
“Oracle” was founded in 1977 and is one the biggest world’s companies in the field of IT technology and since 2003 it has been operating in Serbia.
