Vujovic and Muller, who met in the autumn meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank in Washington, supported the result-oriented cooperation between teams of the World Bank and the government of Serbia.
Vujovic, speaking about reforms, confirmed that Serbia wants to continue to achieve set goals and that we are constantly learning how to effectively optimise our finances, stepping up production and exports and to continue to attract foreign investments.
Muller said that the Serbian government is very committed to the implementation of reforms and that the World Bank will continue to support the strengthening of the business climate in the period ahead of us.
He supported the intention to support education and health, emphasising that assistance from the World will be tangible in the reform of public administration and optimisation of public sector employees.
The World Bank is planning to implement a number of projects that will support the agro sector, where Serbia is expected to continue to give excellent results that sends a positive message to the region and Europe, concluded Muller.
