Accession of Serbia to EU important impetus to foreign investment

Minister without portfolio responsible for European integration Jadranka Joksimovic met today with a delegation of former European parliamentarians from almost all EU member states and on that occasion informed them about Serbia’s negotiating process and following steps.
Joksimovic reiterated that European integration remains the best mechanism for achieving internal development and further advancement of the country, starting from higher standards of living and working conditions, a stable economy and more investment.
The aim and task of the government, as she pointed out, is that in the next few years it brings closer EU values to citizens of Serbia, but also the benefits that citizens will have from this process, particularly at the local and regional level.
When it comes to the migrant crisis, former parliamentarians praised Serbia's role as a transit country and its efficient approach to problem solving and humane attitude towards migrants.
