Economic cooperation of Serbia, France improves

Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic said today in Paris that Serbia is on the path of economic revival, that it conducts the right economic policy, and that it has opened the door to investors with a stable fiscal, monetary and economic policy.

Addressing representatives of French companies at a conference organised by French business association "Business France", with the support of the Serbian Development Agency, French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Knezevic pointed out that all the parameters show that our country is on the right track .

He stressed that the two countries are linked by the decades of friendship, to which very good economic results and improving trade can be added.

Only through a persistent economic policy, the continuation of reforms and dedicated work will we be able to celebrate the first billion-euro trade, the Minister stated.

According to Knezevic, Serbian companies have shown that they can be competitive on the EU market and achieve better results, as a result of daily work on the improvement of the economic environment, listening to both domestic and foreign businessmen in Serbia.

Knezevic said that the privatisation process will end in the mandate of this government and explained that the portfolio of the Ministry of Economy contains 184 companies that are the subject of further sale, while Serbia is also developing the possibility of public-private partnership.
