World Bank to support Serbian judiciary

Minister of Justice Nela Kuburovic spoke with the World Bank Country Manager for Serbia Tony Verheijen about previous cooperation and plans for future projects.

Kuburovic and Verheijen agreed that the previous cooperation of the ministry and the World Bank was on a high level and that the implementation of newly planned projects could improve it, said the ministry.
They pointed out that one of the key tasks of Serbia and its judiciary is the implementation of the Action Plan for Chapter 23.
Considering that, Verheijen pointed out that the World Bank will continue to give support to Serbia on its European path as before.
During the meeting, plans for future projects, the ministry's plan of activities and priorities in the forthcoming period were presented and the way of cooperation between the ministry and the World Bank was agreed.
