Minister without portfolio responsible for European integration Jadranka Joksimovic spoke today with President of the Italian Society for International Organisation Franco Frattini about European integration, reform policy, relations in the region and the migrant crisis.
Joksimovic and Frattini have assessed that Serbia is a stable country in the region, with a clear commitment to the European Union.
The Minister underlined that the accession process will continue to be an integral part of reform policies and an integral part of internal development policy in Serbia.
Joksimovic and Frattini agreed that the Serbian government has shown responsibility towards citizens and the state, that it does not step back before challenges brought by the reform process, the region and the migrant crisis, by which it has shown to have a clear strategic objective.
The two officials pointed out that with a responsible and truly dedicated policy, Serbia has gained important partners in the world.
Joksimovic underlined that Serbia remains consistent in the implementation of the policy that is focused on the stability of the region, which is the basic prerequisite for its progress.
She added that others should follow its example and that in the future the economy should be the focus of relations among countries.
