Air Serbia flight lands in New York

The Airbus A330 aircraft named Nikola Tesla, which this morning took off from Belgrade on a direct flight to New York, landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York after a nine and a half hours flight.

The aircraft was greeted at the JFK airport with water cannons, as a sign of welcome, and with the inscription "JFK airport welcomes Air Serbia" on the electronic billboard.
The plane, with more 250 passengers, took off this morning at eight o'clock, after almost a quarter-century, on a direct flight to New York and landed at 11.40 local time, or at 17.40 Serbia time.
