Regarding yesterday's adoption of the law by Hungary which allows the police to return back illegal migrants it discover within the zone of eight kilometres from the southern Hungarian border with Serbia, Vulin announced that Belgrade will seek an explanation from the Hungarian colleagues about this legal solution.
No country can make a law that applies to any other country, he said and explained that international law prescribes how a person can be returned from a specific country.
According to Vulin, the law adopted by Hungary implies that even without any agreement, any talks and the provisions of international law, someone could be returned to the territory of Serbia, which is absolutely unacceptable to our country.
Vulin pointed out that the Readmission agreement with Hungary is functioning well, but that it applies to our citizens, while a readmission agreement that would apply to citizens of other countries does not exist.
