Sweden reliable partner to Serbia's European path

Minister without portfolio in charge of European integration Jadranka Joksimovic met today with Ambassador of Sweden to Serbia Christer Asp to discuss Serbia's European integration and the further continuation of cooperation between the two countries.

Joksimovic expressed gratitude for the support of Sweden то Serbia's European path, and expressed the hope that by the end of the presidency of this country chapters 23 and 24 will be opened.
She welcomed the attitude of Sweden on an objective evaluation of individual progress of candidate countries in the process of European integration and the position that bilateral issues should not be introduced into the process of negotiations with the European Union.
Asp, whose diplomatic mandate in Serbia ends soon, welcomed the reform process carried out by the government of Serbia, as well as economic progress made in the previous period.
He stressed the importance of the opening of chapters 23 and 24 soon, which will give new dynamics to the process of negotiations between Serbia and the EU.
