Significant contribution of Serbia to solving migrant crisis

Minister without portfolio responsible for European integration Jadranka Joksimovic spoke today with Director of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) Michael Spindelegger about the current issues related to the migrant crisis.
It was pointed out at the meeting that, both for EU members and candidate countries, it is very important to take a unique stance in making important decisions related to migrations.
Joksimovic underlined that Serbia advocates a comprehensive European solution and that Austria can continue to count on the partnership of Serbia and its responsible attitude towards the migrant crisis.
Noting that Serbia responded in a proper manner and in the European spirit, she underlined that the field of migrations is one more reason why it is necessary to open chapters 23 and 24.
