At a meeting of Serbia's negotiation team and the NCEU Programme Council, Miscevic presented the current situation in the EU talks process, adding that the European Commission assessment of Chapter 32 on financial control, which was opened in December, is positive, the NCEU said in a statement.
Speaking about the other open chapter, Chapter 35, Miscevic said that a snapshot of the situation will be made in early July, in line with the received negotiating position.
With regards to other chapters in the wake of the screening process, the situation is that reports have been adopted for 11 chapters and there are no criteria, so we have been called on to submit negotiating positions, she said.
We have fulfilled the criteria for opening Chapter 24, while reports with criteria have arrived for six chapters, and work is under way on them, Miscevic added.
