The prices of goods in March grew 0.9 percent month-on-month, while the prices of services went up by 0.4 percent against the month before, the office said.
The cost of living in April grew one percent on average against the previous month, or 6.3 percent against December 2004, according to the office.
The prices of agricultural products rose 9.2 percent month-on-month, with prices of seasonal fruit and vegetables going up, including carrot, cabbage, beet, apples, walnut, lemon, bananas and oranges as well as fish and eggs.
The prices of manufactured food products went up 0.6 percent, with meat, fats, sugar and confectionery products increasing in price, the statement said.
In April, the prices of drinks went up 0.8 percent, with liquors and soft drinks going up while the prices of tobacco products remained unchanged.
Prices of non-food products rose 0.6 percent on average against March, the office reported.
