The interlocutors exchanged views on the European path of Serbia, and agreed that the government led by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has made a significant progress, especially when it comes to the reform process, which is the most important for the citizens of Serbia who aspire to live in a country with a functional system.
At the meeting they also discussed chapters 23 and 24, as well as the importance of maintaining the existing dynamics in the course of the pre-election and post-election process.
Accordingly, Eliades reiterated the firm support of Cyprus to opening those negotiation chapters by the end of the Dutch EU Presidency, i.e., by the end of June this year.
