The European Integration Office stated that, as part of Interreg-IPA Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) Programme Hungary-Serbia, which is co-financed by the EU, the Strategic call for submitting project proposals has been announced.
According to the statement, the total budget, in the amount of €24.8 million, is earmarked for the projects of strategic importance for the border region of Hungary and Serbia.
The call for proposals HUSRB / 1601 will be open until 26 August this year, for projects that are in accordance with the relevant national and regional strategies and have the ability to improve the quality of life in the programme area.
The competition is open to projects which comply with one of the three priorities - improving transboundary water management and risk management system, reducing bottlenecks in cross-border traffic and encouraging cooperation in the field of tourism and cultural heritage.
Interreg IPA-CBC Hungary-Serbia is implemented within the framework of the financial period 2014-2020 of the European Union, through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).
