According to a statement by the Commissariat, all permanent and reception centres for migrants have enough food, warm clothes and footwear, medical care and information for asylum seekers.
The Commissariat appeals to organisations of civil society to send all migrants to official reception centres.
When it comes to Belgrade, the Centre for asylum seekers in Krnjaca has sufficient accommodation, food, warm clothes and footwear, so there is no reason for all registered migrants not to receive accommodation and aid guaranteed by law.
The migrants who do not turn to official institutions and are not registered are under a great risk of being victims of human smuggling and trafficking.
All reception facilities have heating and proper sanitation and there have been no health problems caused by cold.
The Commissariat for Refugees and Migration thanks the non-governmental sector for helping the state to provide the necessary assistance to migrants, reads the statement.
