The Privatisation Agency has said that the tender commission for Belgrade brewery BIP held its first session on April 8 and publicly opened bids for the takeover of 51.31 percent of the company’s assets. The only bidder that submitted an offer within the allotted time is a consortium of legal entities: Poteza Nalozbe from Ljubljana, Pan Beer from Novi Sad and Coka from Smederevo.
Six potential bidders had purchased the tender documentation, including Hungarian ARAGO Investment Holding Co., SAB Miller Plc. from England, Rodic M&B Co. from Kula, Publikum Borzno Posredovanje from Slovenia, Amber International SARL from Luxemburg and Pan Beer from Novi Sad.
The Privatisation Agency’s financial and legal consultants will make an assessment of the bid within 30 days and present it at the tender commission’s second session.
