The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated today that the only bid that was submitted for the purchase of 70 percent of the socially-owned capital of the Vranje road works company was opened at the Tender Commission’s first session, which was held on March 16. The bidder is the Nis road works company.
The public opening of the offer was preceded by the formation of the Tender Commission and the adoption of a report on the course of privatisation of the Vranje road works company to that point in time. The tender documentation was purchased by three prospective investors: the Nis road company, Alpina from Belgrade and Strabag from Austria.
The Privatisation Agency’s financial and legal consultants will make an assessment of the bid within 30 days and present it at the Tender Commission’s second session.
