Screening of Chapter 26 on education, culture begins

Deputy Director of the Serbian government’s European Integration Office Srdjan Majstorovic is heading a Serbian delegation in Brussels where the screening of Chapter 26 began this morning.
Chapter 26 deals with education and culture, and the Serbian delegation consists of experts from the relevant ministries.
Screening is the process of evaluation of harmonisation of laws and regulations of the candidate country with European standards. It will be followed by the start of negotiations on each of the total of 35 chapters.
