Serbian President to call parliamentary elections tomorrow

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will sign tomorrow a decree on dissolving Serbian Parliament and a decision to call early parliamentary elections.

The Information Service of the President said that Nikolic will sign the decision on 29 January, at 12.00, at the Presidency of Serbia at Andricev Venac.
Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic presented today to the President a reasoned proposal of the government on dissolving parliament, after which the President told reporters he will call early parliamentary elections in accordance with the Constitution, and that tomorrow the public will be notified on the date of the elections.
