Addressing the extraordinary session of the Assembly, which is considering the Bill amending the Law on Ministries, Selakovic also explained that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also be in charge of diaspora while the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration will deal with e-government.
The Ministry of Finance will be in charge of the state budget, government revenues and expenditures, macroeconomic policy, fiscal analysis, games of chance, currency system, and credit relations, said the Minister.
The Ministry of Economy will focus on the economy and economic development, companies’ networking, proposing measures for investment, economic policy measures for the development of craftsmanship, small and medium-sized enterprises, tourism and other related issues.

Selakovic said that the adoption of amendments to the Law on Ministries will enable a functional and cost-effective system of public administration, and added that in this way the government’s reshuffle will get its normative framework in political sense.
The Minister said that the changes were necessary for progress in finance and the economy, which determines the improvement of the conditions and progress of the whole society.
Special focus will be on underdevelopment of economic activities, said Selakovic.
The session of the parliament began with a debate on the proposed law.
Previously, the mentioned proposal was adopted by the parliament’s Committee for Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
