Serbia’s chief negotiator in EU accession talks to be elected this week

Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Verica Kalanovic stated that the heads of the leading coalition spoke today at the first meeting dedicated to the reshuffle of the Serbian government about its future goals and agreed to choose the chief negotiator in the talks on the EU accession this week.

She said that the government’s goals and personnel solutions will be discussed within the leading parties next week.
After that, the Serbian government and Parliament will do all the necessary tasks so as to enable the work of the reshuffled government.
Today’s meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vucic, Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Zarko Obradovic, Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin and Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Verica Kalanovic.
After that, the Serbian government and Parliament will do all the necessary tasks so as to enable the work of the reshuffled government.
