As part of the TP 84 plan, whose implementation was ordered by Serbian Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic, some 700 inspectors of the Serbian Tax Administration and Customs Administration have closed down 50 shops and kiosks across the country and seized 3,845 packs of cigarettes without an excise stamp, worth a total of 234,000 dinars, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement today.

The statement went on to say that the inspectors have also found 218,838 packs of cigarettes with an excise stamp of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 577 shops and kiosks. The total value of these cigarettes is around 10.6 million dinars, reads the statement.
