The Serbian Parliament ratified today the Agreement between the governments of Serbia and Russia on the deliveries of natural gas from Russia to Serbia in the period from 2012 to 2021, in the volume of five billion cubic meters a year.

The Parliament also ratified the Agreement between the governments of Serbia and Russia on the approval of a state export loan to the Serbian government in the amount of $800 million for financing infrastructure projects and procurement of vehicles for the state railway company "Železnice Srbije".
The Treaty of Guarantee between Serbia and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development was also ratified (Project railway station in Belgrade Centre - Phase 1), which envisages the provision of a loan worth KWD 10 million to "Železnice Srbije" for the construction of the said railway station.
The Law on special conditions for registration of title to the facilities constructed without a building permit was adopted, which will allow for registration of ownership rights for 1.3 million facilities in Serbia.
The Parliament passed the Law on efficient use of energy, which envisages the establishment of a budgetary fund for energy efficiency.
The Parliament also ratified the agreements between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on cooperation, on mutual encouragement and protection of investments, cooperation in the field of defence and the Agreement on avoidance of double taxation with respect to income tax.
