Serbian economy to achieve quality and set standards

Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo said today that the world needs Serbian brands and that the economy should aim itself at achieving quality and creating standards to retain that quality.

Opening a traditional event “Quality Week in Serbia-Montenegro,” Bubalo said that meeting this goal should be a driving force of the economy, noting that our society has the strength and knowledge needed to appear on the world market.
Serbia-Montenegrin Minister of Economic Relations Amir Nurkovic said that winners of 2004 Quality Oscar showed that our products satisfy even the most demanding markets.
The three-day event will present the winners of 2004 Quality Oscar, Vrbas-based Vital as the best large company, and Narcis Popovici from Sabac in the category of small and medium-sized businesses.
Participants in the event will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the role and importance of quality standards and the models of excellence in the restructuring of the public sector, as well as being presented with integrated systems in the function of competitiveness and successful business management techniques.
