Support for speedy admission of the Republic of Serbia to the WTO

As part of the initiation of the process of the Republic of Serbia’s admission to the World Trade Organization, Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Milan Parivodic met today in Geneva with Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Supachai Panitchpakdi.
The delegation of the Republic of Serbia also had talks with representatives and ambassadors of several WTO member states, including representatives of the US, Canada, the European Commission, Switzerland, Australia, Bulgaria and Croatia.
Full support was given during the talks for speedier inclusion of the Republic of Serbia to the WTO, which is a priority goal of the Serbian government that is aimed towards full integration into international economic organizations.
