Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic met today with presidents of four municipalities in northern Kosovo-Metohija, Krstimir Pantic, Slavisa Ristic, Dragisa Milovic and Dragisa Vasic.
Nikolic said that Serbia will never recognise the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo-Metohija, and will do everything in its power to ensure a better life, peace and security of the citizens who live there.
Dacic told representatives of the Serbs from northern Kosovo-Metohija about the process of implementation of the agreements reached so far with Pristina, primarily agreements on integrated crossing management and the freedom of movement.
The presidents of the four municipalities requested that the technical protocol for the implementation of the agreement should in no way promote or provide an introduction to the independence of Kosovo-Metohija.
The President of the Republic and the Prime Minister promised to submit the technical protocol, signed by the interim authorities in Pristina and Serbia, by 4 December, after which the presidents of four municipalities will address the citizens in the north of the province.
