Dragan Jocic
Jocic told the Tanjug news agency that the talks with Czech Minister of Interior Frantisek Bublan focused on improvement of bilateral cooperation and the problem of Kosovo-Metohija.
He said that the issue of Kosovo-Metohija is of great importance not only for Serbia but for the whole of Europe as well. He said that the Czech Republic is faced with the problem of a large Albanian organised crime network, which is a part of a very strong criminal network in central Europe.
Bublan said that the Czech Republic will help Serbia by giving suggestions related to the policy of asylum and illegal migration because the Czechs also know that illegal migration, whose origin is mostly in Kosovo-Metohija, is a very problematic issue.
During today's meeting Bublan and Jocic also discussed the readmission of refugees from the Czech Republic to Serbia in an agreement that should be reached and signed by the Serbia-Montenegrin Council of Ministers, that is, Minister of Human Rights and National Minorities Rasim Ljaljic.
The talks also touched on the issue of organised crime, especially the fully developed drug network and ways of fighting it.
The ministers also exchanged experiences concerning the reform of the Ministry of Interior, education and internal control of police, as well as ways of operational work at all levels. At the end of the meeting, Jocic invited his counterpart Bublan to visit Serbia.
