Beriša emphasised that Serbia guarantees members of national minorities rights in line with international standards, the norms of which are incorporated into the country’s constitutional and legal framework, thereby creating conditions for institutional protection and the exercise of minority rights.
The Minister stressed that the Ukrainian national minority is an important part of Serbia’s multicultural society, confirming the support of the line ministry for the National Council of the Ukrainian National Minority, as well as for the Ukrainian community in Serbia.
