Serbs from Diaspora decorated at new offices of the Ministry for Diaspora

Serbian Minister for Diaspora Vojislav Vukcevic delivered state orders to Serbs from Diaspora, bestowed on them by Serbia-Montenegrin President Svetozar Marovic, at the newly opened offices of the Ministry for Diaspora.

The new offices of the Ministry for Diaspora are in 20 Vasina Street and they have been consecrated by Bishop of Sabac and Valjevo Lavrentije.
The care for the homeland did not begin with us. Before us, there have also been people who cared for their homeland without being told to do so. Among them are today's laureates, to whom Serbia said one big "thank you", Vukcevic said at the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by Serbia-Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Draskovic, Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo, Minister of Culture Dragan Kojadinovic, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Radovan Jelasic, Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, Director of the Institute for School Books and Teaching Aids Rados Ljusic and others.
