Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric and Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak signed today in Warsaw an Agreement on Economic Cooperation between the two countries.
Ciric said that the agreement is important for bilateral relations between the two countries, as this agreement gives a legal form after almost ten years, establishing business relations between Poland and Serbia.
The signing of the bilateral agreement is of great importance because its application will remove the legal gap in the contractual regulation of economic cooperation and also to create conditions for its improvement. The previous agreement was made void in 2004 with the entry of Poland into the EU.
A business forum organised by the Polish-Balkan Chambers of Commerce was attended by more than 20 Polish companies interested in investing in Serbia.
At the forum Ciric presented investment potentials of Serbia.
