Industrial output in January 2011 increased in the processing industry (5.6%) and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (1.7%), but fell in the mining and quarrying sector (4.3%).
Data on industrial production in January 2011, compared to January 2010, indicates that there was an increase in the production of capital goods (25.9 %), intermediary products, energy excluded (8.6%), non-durable consumer goods (1.6%) and energy (1.2%), while a drop was recorded in the production of durable consumer goods (25.5%).
Industrial production this January, compared to the same month in 2010, indicates an increase in 19 divisions, which participate in the structure of industrial production with 76%, and a fall in 10 divisions, which participate in the structure of industrial production with 24 %.
