Dinkic pointed out that South Korea is the fourth country that Serbia has signed the protocol with and announced that in the coming months we will sign protocols with other members of the WTO.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the negotiations with the EU and Canada are finished and recalled that the protocols have already been signed with Japan, Norway and Honduras.
Negotiations with South Korea lasted for three years and were mainly focused on agricultural and industrial products and services, said the Minister, stressing that this country has shown flexibility in negotiations and understanding of the economic situation in Serbia.
Dinkic expressed satisfaction with the visit of the South Korean delegation to Serbia, headed by South Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency KOTRA.
He stressed that South Korea's Yura is one of the fastest and most serious investors in Serbia and said that the company arrived to Serbia early this year, and has already employed 1,300 workers in Raca, and plans to open a new factory in Nis.
Dinkic also invited other South Korean companies to invest in Serbia.
Jonghae commended the signing of the protocol, stressing that Serbia will be a valuable partner.
The South Korean business delegation will visit Raca and Nis, where they will discuss investment opportunities.
Present at the meeting with Dinkic were representatives of South Korean companies Daewoo International, Korea Electric Power, Hanil Iron & Steel Co., Hwaseung R&A and others.
