Advisor to the Serbian Prime Minister Slobodan Samardzic said prior to leaving for New York to attend the UN Security Council session on Kosovo-Metohija, that the Belgrade delegation will explain the position of Serbian authorities concerning the key issues in the province, first and foremost the decentralisation issue.

The Prime Minister's Advisor told the Beta news agency that he expects the Security Council to take a stand on the decentralisation of authority in Kosovo and pointed out that it is impossible to achieve progress in the solution of problems in the province if the question of decentralisation is not given due attention.
Head of UNMIK Soren Jessen-Petersen will also attend the Security Council session on November 29. He will speak about technical implementation of standards in Kosovo-Metohija.
