The Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of the Republic of Serbia stated today that on the great Orthodox feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, which holds immense significance and symbolism for the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, the Church of St. Emperor Constantine and Empress Helena in the village of Bušince in Kosovska Kamenica was broken into and ransacked.

The incident has particularly alarmed and disturbed the believers in this Serb community in Kosovska Kamenica, as it shows that they can find no peace even on a major religious holiday, nor in their places of worship, the statement adds.
