Retail prices in August up 1% compared to July

The Statistics Office said today that prices of retail goods and services in Serbia on average increased by 1% in August 2010 compared to the previous month.
In August this year, compared to the same month in 2009, retail prices increased by 7.9%, while in comparison with December last year increased by 6.7%.
The cost of living in Serbia in August this year increased by 1.7% compared to the previous month.
In August 2010, compared to the same month of 2009, the cost of living increased by 6.3%, and 5.5% in comparison to December 2009.
Kosovo-Metohija is not included in the data since the Statistics Office has had no data from the province since 1999.
