Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic stated today that investors are interested in Serbia, however, they will go where they are offered free building land and better infrastructure.
During his tour of the industrial zone in Velika Plana and the Deama company, Dinkic explained that municipalities which manage to create suitable conditions will receive more investment leading to more employment.
The state will offer incentives to investors who decide to invest in Velika Plana, he announced, adding that it is necessary to invest uniformly in Sumadija and Pomoravlje.
Deama, founded with 100% capital by the Italian company Siplo, produces parts for the machine industry. In Velika Plana their factory covers an area of 1,800 square metres. The company is also planning to build one more factory of the same size.
During his tour of the industrial zone in Velika Plana and Deama, Dinkic was accompanied by State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Goran Petkovic and Director of the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency Bozidar Laganin.
