A statement by the Ministry of Trade and Services reads that Milosavljevic and Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz will sign a joint document from the Commission’s session.
The Mixed Commission will meet in order to make a detailed analysis of bilateral economic relations and opportunities for its improvement.
The Serbian delegation will raise the issue of Cuba’s outstanding debts to Serbia’s creditors at the request of Serbian companies – creditors.
According to the latest data available, the total debt of Cuba to Serbia’s creditors on the basis of credit export operations within the civil sector stands at $86,442,477, without corresponding interest.
Members of the Serbian delegation will meet with President of the Central Bank of Cuba Ernesto Medina Villaveirán and Minister of Economy and Planning Marino Alberto Murillo Jorge.
The Serbian delegation is also scheduled to meet with Minister of Health José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera, Minister of Basic Industry Yadira García Vera, Minister of Construction Fidel Fernando Figueroa de la Paz, Minister of Agriculture Gustavo Rodríguez Rollero and Minister of Higher Education Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez.
Apart from Minister Milosavljevic, the Serbian delegation will include Assistant Minister of Finance Zoran Cirovic, Assistant Minister of Science Viktor Nedovic, Assistant Minister of Education Slobodan Jaukovic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Mining Dusan Mrakic, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Milos Bugarin and Advisor at JUBMES Bank Lola Stamenkovic.
Apart from state officials, the Serbian delegation will also comprise representatives of firms and institutes that cooperate with Cuban companies or are interested in taking part in doing business in Cuba, it is added in the statement.
