The Serbian Statistics Office stated that in the first quarter of 2010 the average monthly budget per household in Serbia stood at RSD 45,246, of which 94.3% was monetary revenue and 5.7% income in kind.
Salaries for regular jobs had the largest share in monetary revenue and stood at 46.9%, while 36.8% consisted of pensions.
Personal expenditure in households in Serbia amounted to RSD 40,977, of which the largest part was spent on food and non-alcoholic beverages (40.9%).
