At a joint press conference Malovic and Simonovic stated that they synchronised the text of an agreement on mutual extradition of persons involved in organised crime and corruption.
Malovic noted that the agreement will be signed after certain amendments to the Croatian Constitution are adopted, stressing that no one will be spared if they have committed a war crime, regardless of where they are now.
Simonovic stressed that the meeting also looked at EU integration, reiterating Croatia’s full support to Serbia on this path.
Malovic signed a Memorandum of Understanding concerning the fight against corruption, part of the Regional Anti Corruption Initiative (RAI), which means that Serbia is now a member of the initiative.
Malovic will meet with President of the Croatian Supreme Court Branko Horvatin to discuss overall international cooperation between judicial organs of their two countries, as well as experiences regarding EU integration, the fight against organised crime and judicial reform.
She will also meet with Croatian Chief Prosecutor Mladen Bajic, Minister of the Interior Tomislav Karamarko and Head of the Section for Combating Corruption and Organised Crime Dinko Cvitan.
The Serbian delegation, led by Minister Malovic, also includes State Prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac, Director of the Anticorruption Agency Zorana Markovic and Deputy War Crimes Prosecutor Bruno Vekaric.
