Milosavljevic said that this investment is important for the Serbian economy in times of crisis because it will create new jobs, use domestic raw materials and make an impact with domestic partners in sales.
Director of “Ice Cream Factory” Radosav Komadinic said that the factory makes 13 flavours, 300,000 litres of ice cream per month and it employs 37 workers.
Komadinic said that the factory will be making only family packs because the consumption of ice cream bars and cones is dropping worldwide. He added that this factory supplies hotels and restaurants in Serbia, and its products can be found in the majority of trade chains throughout the country.
In addition, the ice cream from Nova Pazova is being sold in Russia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bahrain. The factory has problems exporting to Croatia which protects its market with high prices, although it is a CEFTA member state.
This factory covers 700 square metres and is a greenfield investment worth €1.2 million. It meets the highest standards and possesses HACCP and ISO certificates.
