All details of the arms export deal have been worked out in a meeting that was also attended by Serbian Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovac.
Dinkic said that Algeria is a market offering opportunities for our builders and designers, as well as for the Serbian food industry.
Algeria has just adopted a five-year infrastructure development plan and will invest several billion dollars in infrastructure, he said.
Dinkic said that Serbian companies, which have so far been engaged in less expensive projects, could close business deals worth hundreds of millions of Euros in consortia with Algerian companies.
At the meeting with the Algerian Minister of Health Dinkic said that agreement was reached which will result in Serbian pharmaceutical companies being given special status in Algeria to facilitate their business operations.
They also agreed to invite Serbian doctors to come to Algeria and share their knowledge with their Algerian counterparts, for which purpose Algeria will set aside considerable funds.
During the three-day visit Dinkic also met with five other Algerian ministers and the Algerian Governor General.
Around 60 representatives from leading Serbian companies in the defence industry, the construction engineering industry, as well as the energy, food and furniture industries accompanied Dinkic on his visit to Algeria.
