Budgetary revenues increase in January

Minister of Finance Diana Dragutinovic said today that budgetary revenues in January this year have increased by 6% against the same month last year.

After opening a branch office of the Serbian Tax Administration in Stara Pazova, Dragutinovic said that such results are better than projected for 2010. They are also better than in January 2008, which was a very good year.
Dragutinovic said that the Ministry cut the number of its employees from around 240 to 200.
The Minister recalled that the government recommended that the maximum salary in public agencies and public enterprises cannot be more than six times bigger than the average monthly salary in the Republic of Serbia.
