According to a statement issued by the NALED executive board, the award has been presented to Dinkic for starting comprehensive regulatory reforms, providing direct support to the economy through subsidised loans and securing Foreign Direct Investments and liquidity of the economy during the global financial crisis.
Speaking at the award presentation ceremony at the Hyatt Hotel, Dinkic said that at its next session on December 29, the Serbian government will adopt the first set of recommendations for removing unnecessary administrative procedures and red tape.
He said that a much larger number of recommendations could have been adopted but due to resistance from the bureaucracy only half will be passed, as the rest of the measures need to be agreed on with the administration.
He voiced hope that all useful recommendations from companies will be adopted by the end of January and implemented by the middle of next year.
The Minister said that is necessary to introduce a one stop system in many fields, for example for registration of employees and cancelation of their registration.
Dinkic said that there are objections to the work of local tax administrations, and according to him, employment booklets should also be abolished because they don't exist anywhere else in the world because they have been substitututed by electronic databases.
Director of the Agency for Business Registers Zvonko Obradovic also got the award of the reformer of the year for having introduced a one-stop system for registration of companies and direct contribution to competitiveness of the economy, transparent and responsible management and simplification of procedures.
President of the Paracin municipality Sasa Paunovic was also awarded for promotion of interests of local self-governments before state authorities and promotion of responsible governance in the public sector.
