The Serbian Statistics Office said that the average gross salary in Serbia in November 2009 amounted to RSD 43,895, down by 0.6% in nominal and 1.4% in real terms when compared to the previous month.
The average net salary in November stood at RSD 31,576, which is 0.5% less in nominal and 1.3% in real terms when compared to the average net salary in October.
Compared with November 2008, the average gross salary last month rose 5.2% nominally and 0.6% in real terms.
The average net salary in November 2009 in comparison with November 2008 went up nominally by 5.4%, but also fell by 1% in real terms.
The average net salary in the period January–November 2009, when compared to the average net salary in the same period 2008, rose by 9% in nominal and 1% in real terms.
