Dinkic told the press that the agreement envisages joint production of Ferguson tractors.
He explained that under the agreement a minimum of 3,000 tractors will be jointly produced during 2010 for the Serbian, Turkish, Polish and other markets, chiefly South Eastern European countries.
The Minister said that joint production of the new and improved Ferguson tractor is the first phase in the future cooperation between the three companies.
He confirmed that the state will continue to subsidise the purchase and interest on long term loans for tractors next year.
Dinkic said that there are plans to move IMT to Prva Iskra factory in Baric and to sell the present factory site in New Belgrade and build flats on it.
President of Hattat Company Ibrahim Hattat and Director General of Pol-Mot Andrzej Zarajczyk voiced their satisfaction at having agreed cooperation with IMT and added that they hope that the result of this cooperation will be a tractor that will be sold in many countries.
IMT General Director Slobodan Petrovic said that this joint production will increase the labour-force of IMT, which currently has some 800 workers.
Also, this cooperation will reduce production costs in IMT and the price of the newly-made tractor will be €8,200, before subsidies.
He said that due to state subsidies the production of IMT tractors has tripled in 2009 in comparison to previous years.
