November prices of goods, services higher by 0.8% in relation to October

The Serbian Statistics Office stated today that retail prices of goods and services in November 2009 rose on average by 0.8% against the previous month.
Compared to November 2008, the prices went up by 5.9%, while in relation to December 2008 they rose by 6.9%.
The major increase of prices against the previous month was recorded in the groups of transport (2.2%), food and soft drinks, and restaurants and hotels (1.2% each), clothing and footwear (1.1 %), recreation and culture (0.5%), while the prices of alcoholic drinks and tobacco fell by 0.2%.
Prices of other products and services did not change significantly.
