Dinkic said that Serbia can be led only by those who can see ahead and further than others, those who are brave enough to make long-sighted moves, even in the hardest times.
He congratulated the Pakom owners for their courageous decision to invest during a global crisis, noting that the IT industry will move forward as soon as the crisis passes and that sales will soar once again.
The SIEPA agency granted €125,000 to Pakom because it will create jobs for 25 young engineers in Nis.
The Deputy Prime Minister said he hopes there will be more such good news in Serbia, adding that although visas have been abolished and the transitional trade agreement unfrozen, Serbia still has a lot more to do to achieve European standards.
The Pakom Group will help us modernise society with advanced IT technologies and introduce European standards to Serbia more easily, Dinkic said.
He promised that in the upcoming period his Ministry will attempt to secure support to underdeveloped municipalities for, assisting the young in broadening their knowledge and reducing the development gap between regions in Serbia.
This is why such a centre in Nis is important, Dinkic said, noting that Nis will now be on a par with Belgrade.
The new Pakom IT Centre spans 5,000 square metres and includes a state-of-the-art logistics and distribution centre, a computer manufacturing facility, a central servicing centre and a hosting centre.
