The loan has a ten-year grace period with a maturity of 20 years, the World Bank Belgrade office said in a statement.
The energy efficiency project aims to improve energy efficiency in heating buildings and reduce the impact of the use of dirty fuels for heating, the statement said.
The funding will be appropriated to replace old and inefficient heat plant at the Clinical Center, improve heating and energy efficient lighting at the Clinical Center's maternity hospital building, and recover heat distribution networks in a number of schools and hospitals across the country.
