The statement said that consumer prices in October 2009, compared to the same month of 2008, increased 5.2%, and in comparison to December 2008 by 6%.
Observed by main groups of products and services, the biggest price increase was recorded in the groups of clothing and footwear (1.2%) and restaurants and hotels (0.9%).
The price increase was recorded in the groups of furniture, household equipment and routine maintenance (0.6%), while health and transport recorded a fall in prices of 1.7%, or 0.5%.
Prices of other products and services have not changed significantly.
